Having started her career at the PIC, in 2005, Nangamso Maponya is a Principal Investment Banking and Project Finance Professional at the DBSA, responsible for infrastructure projects within the Transport, Logistics and Water sectors. She has also participated in project financing and monitoring of projects in Broadband, Oil & Gas, Student Housing, Maritime infrastructure as well Fund of Funds and Private Equity investments.
A Unisa BCom (Hons) (Financial Management) graduate, she now holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Investments with London School of Business and Finance, an MSc – Finance with Geneva Business School and a Chartered Banker MBA, with the University of Bangor, in Wales. She recently completed (2019) a General Management Programme, with the Harvard Business School.
Nangamso is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF), a member of their Fund Raising Committee and a chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee of GPF. She is also an independent Investment Committee member of Sizwe Medical Fund and recently been appointed on the Board of Tafari Capital.
